McEwan was the lone bowler to start every one of Fairleigh Dickinson’s seven matches at the Northeast Conference Fall Meet, and the freshman took advantage of the opportunity.  She posted an 18.82 overall frame average during the two-day competition, which was hosted by Kutztown University in Reading, Pennsylvania.  Faring well in both the traditional and baker play portions of FDU’s matches, McEwan filled 84.7% of the 98 frames she bowled.  The right-handed rookie scored 192 or better in four traditional games, including a high game of 211 in a narrow 17-pin setback to St. Francis (NY). After her 194 helped the Knights down four-time NCAA Championship participant Sacred Heart by a 31-pin margin,  McEwan posted a team-high 192 in a 1229-1078 triumph over local rival Saint Peter’s.  She rolled 40 strikes in 107 attempts and converted 75.4% of her spare opportunities throughout the weekend.
