Felder had a sensational debut in a Saint Francis (PA) uniform by tallying 17 points on 6-8 shooting with three three-pointers in 24 minutes as the Red Flash battled back from an 11-point second half deficit to secure a 65-61 season opening win over two-time defending Patriot League champion American. The rookie connected on five consecutive field goals, including all three of his three-point attempts in the second half. His bucket with 7:37 left wrapped up a stretch in which he scored 12 of 15 Saint Francis’ points to turn a 36-29 deficit into a 44-43 edge, the first lead for the Red Flash since the early going. Felder, who hails from Cleveland, OH, went on to drill a key three-pointer with 50 seconds remaining that gave Saint Francis the lead for good. Felder finished with 17 points, five rebounds, a steal and an assist in the victory.
