Clawson was successful on all three of his field goal attempts in Robert Morris’ 37-10 victory over Wagner. On his way to claiming a third consecutive NEC Special Teams Player of the Week award, Clawson totaled 13 points (3 FG, 4 PAT) in helping the Colonials extend their win streak to four and deal Wagner its first loss since October 3. The 5-foot-11 Pennsylvanian broke a 7-7 tie midway through the second quarter by hitting from 36 yards. Clawson’s 46-yarder, which increased RMU’s lead to 27-10 with 1:23 remaining in the third quarter, was the second-longest converted by a NEC kicker this season. The junior is 8-for-10 on field goal attempts and has not missed a PAT (9-for-9) during the Colonials’ current four-game surge.
