Rawsthorne’s first traditional game at the FDU Fright Knight Invite was not one to remember, but what transpired thereafter was rather remarkable. After opening traditional play by rolling a score of 133 in a win over No. 6 Delaware State, the first-year Panther exceeded the 200-pin mark in three of her next four starts. Rawsthorne registered scores of 202 and 257 in back-to-back victories over Long Island and Florida A&M before rolling a 201 game in a setback to No. 15 Morgan State. Her efforts yielded the third-highest overall average (197.00) amongst competitors who contested at least five traditional games. In helping Adelphi to an 8-5 record and fifth-place finish at the 12-team tournament, Rawsthorne amassed a .440 strike percentage and filled 87.8% of her frames.
