Clawson provided all the scoring Robert Morris would need in its 9-7 victory over NEC rival Sacred Heart. The junior placekicker converted all three of his field goals attempts (23, 35, 35) to tie his career high as well as RMU’s single-game record. Clawson opened the game’s scoring 1:10 before halftime by sending a 23-yard chip shot through the uprights. He hit from 35 yards out in both the third and fourth quarters to provide the Colonials with a 9-0 advantage.
