Salomon has been a key factor in Mount St. Mary’s turnaround this fall. The first-year Mountaineer’s three-set victory at No. 2 singles was the deciding point in a 4-3 team triumph over Delaware State that extended the Mount’s win streak to four. Running his individual dual match record to 4-0, all in the No. 2 position, Salomon outlasted Brian Celis, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5. The Mountaineers’ 4-0 record is a stark contrast to the 3-18 mark they posted during the 2008-09 campaign.
