In one last tune up before the 2009 NEC Cross Country Championship on Saturday, Oct. 31 at Quinnipiac University, Klauber ran at the CCSU Mini-Meet on Oct. 24. The reigning NEC Outstanding Performer and NEC Freshman of the Year took second place in a field of 104 harriers in the 5K race, clocking in at 15:11.83.
