Schneider is becoming synonymous with the words “NEC Rookie of the Week,” winning her fifth weekly award in six weeks. The freshman forward provided an assist in each of Rider’s two Northeast Conference road wins. Helping the Broncs clinch their 10th straight NEC Tournament berth and remain within one-half game of first-place Lock Haven, Schneider assisted on the game-winning goal in overtime of a 1-0 victory at Saint Francis (PA). Schneider’s other assist helped stake Rider to a 3-0 halftime lead over Robert Morris on the first leg of the Broncs’ Western Pennsylvania swing. The five-time NEC Rookie of the Week leads all freshmen in scoring (18 pts.).
