Doscher accounted for 280 yards of total offense and three touchdowns (two rush, one pass) in Wagner’s 49-28 conference victory over Sacred Heart. The freshman quarterback rushed 19 times for 123 yards while adding another 157 yards through the air on 11-of-17 passing. Doscher’s first of two rushing touchdowns, a 19-yard scamper, pushed Wagner’s lead to 14-6 in the first quarter. Doscher struck again in the second quarter, scoring from five yards out, to put Wagner back in front by a 21-18 count. The rookie signal caller put the Seahawks over the 40-point mark for the fourth time this season when he found receiver Tyrone Collins on a 21-yard scoring strike that pushed the lead to 42-28 in the fourth quarterback. The rookie award is the third this season for Doscher.
