Moir notched his team-leading fourth goal and provided the first assist of his senior campaign to help the Red Flash post a 2-0 victory over #7 Monmouth on Sunday afternoon. While the Hawks had not allowed more than one goal in any game this season and had not surrendered a tally in eight contests, Moir struck early to give SFPA a 1-0 lead at the 10:26 mark. The goal was Moir’s first game-winner in two years. The New Zealand native helped put the match out of reach in the 82nd minute when he headed a cross to teammate Kingsley McLeod for score and a 2-0 lead. Moir’s contributions helped SFPA hand the Hawks their first loss in 14 matches. Currently, Moir paces the team with nine points on four goals (tied for eighth in NEC) and one assist.
