Lomax was responsible for a key punt block during CCSU’s 21-point second-half run that turned a 21-10 deficit into a 31-21 advantage. With Duquesne trailing 24-21 and punting from its own 32-yard line, the sophomore defensive back, who tallied three tackles and two PBUs on defense, stuffed the kick to give CCSU the ball at the Dukes’ 26. The Blue Devils’ second punt block of the day set up their final touchdown in the 31-24 road win. Lomax’s honor is CCSU’s third of the special teams variety this season.
