Cook garners her first adidas/NEC Defensive Player of the Week accolade for having yet to register a loss for Quinnipiac in her five appearances in net this season. The freshman appeared between the posts in both games this weekend, earning two wins in all 180 minutes of play. Cook earned her third shutout of the season in the 3-0 win against Long Island, pulling down five saves in that victory. The Wisconsin native played in difficult elements in the game against Wagner with cold winds and rain beating down on the Quinnipiac Soccer Field in Hamden, CT where she had three saves.
