Lloyd earns her first adidas/NEC Women's Soccer Player of the Week selection in 2009, the first for any Blue Devil in any of the three weekly categories. The forward had a standout week led by her first multi-goal game of the season in the 2-1 overtime win against Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday giving CCSU a 4-0 mark in league play. Her second goal came just 22 seconds into overtime to give the Blue Devils the victory. Lloyd also scored a goal in the 4-2 win over Sacred Heart on Friday. She added a goal in the 3-2 loss at Yale on Monday as well. The England native has scored six goals in the last six games for Central and is the second leading scorer on the team and tied for fourth in the league.
