Kinne paced the MU offense with three points as the Hawks were victorious in both of their matches on the weekend. Kinne, a Hermann Award Watch List member, did all of his damage against Long Island on Sunday, netting his team-leading sixth goal of the season on a penalty kick in the second half. The marker was also the junior’s fourth game-winner of the year, which is good for a tie for first in the NEC. Kinne went on to assist on fellow Hermann List member Chase Barbieri’s insurance goal in the 83rd minute. A well-rounded forward, Kinne’s six goals are tied for first in the league, while his four assists share the third slot on the loop. The Hawks’ leading point scorer, the Naugatuck, CT native’s 16 points also pace the NEC. This award is the second adidas/NEC Player of the Week nod this season
