Fanion earns NEC Men’s Golfer of the Week for leading CCSU with a one over par, 211 (68-72-71), to place in a tie for sixth in the 75-player Macdonald Cup at The Course at Yale this weekend. He led the Blue Devils, who shot five over par 285 in the final round of play, to a fifth place finish out of 15 teams in the competition. This is the rookie’s first honor of his career and the first for any CCSU men’s golfer for the fall 2009 season.
