Spector led the Seahawks with a time of 25:39 at the Victor F. Leeber Invitational at Fairfield University on Sept. 26. The sophomore’s efforts earned a fourth-place standing in a field of 112 harriers from nine institutions. Spector, an all-NEC performer in 2008, topped all NEC competitors in the race and shaved 38 seconds off of his 8K finish from a week ago. Spector has paced WC in four consecutive events, dating back to his rookie season. This marks Spector's second Road Runner Sports NEC Athlete of the Week of the 2009 campaign.
