Doscher accounted for 242 yards of total offense, 144 of which came on the ground, in Wagner’s three-overtime victory over Saint Francis (PA) which was the NEC opener for both teams. The freshman quarterback averaged 7.2 yards per carry and rushed for three touchdowns in contributing to the highest scoring game in the history of NEC play. Helping Wagner storm back from a 17-point deficit, Doscher scored second-half TDs on runs of five and one yards. Then, with the Seahawks behind in the second overtime, Doscher reached the end zone from six yards out to tie the game at 48-48. The rookie signal caller added another two points, converting in the third overtime after Dominique WIlliams’ game-winning touchdown.
