Huthmacher logged a goal in each half to propel the Knights to a 2-1 victory over NJIT on Saturday evening. The senior put FDU on the scoreboard in the 29th minute with his first marker of the season sending the Knights into the intermission with a one-goal advantage. The Highlanders found the equalizer at the 57:04 mark, but Huthmacher didn’t let the tie stand for long as the forward netted the gamewinner just over two minutes later. Currently, Huthmacher’s four points rank third on the team. A native of Brazil, Huthmacher’s tallies marked the fourth and fifth of his career and helped the Knights snap a four-game slide as they kick off the Conference portion of their schedule this weekend hosting undefeated Monmouth.
