Running in just her third collegiate race, White bested the field of 110 harriers from 11 institutions - 10 of which were NEC members - as the Bobcats hosted the Quinnipiac Invitational on Sept. 19. White recorded the only sub-18 minute time on the 5K course in Hamden, CT, clocking in at 17:58.2. The win marked the first of the freshman’s young career and helped the Bobcats earn the team title overall. The Rookie of the Week award is the second for White this season, while the Player of the Week honor is the first of her career.
