In a warm up for the NEC Cross Country Championship on Oct. 31, the Bobcats hosted the Quinnipiac Invitational on Saturday with 10 league members competing. Forgach ran the 8K course in a time of 25:52.4 to take home the individual title and help the Hawks place third overall. The local product’s time bested the previous course record of 27:18 set by Martin Suarez the last time the Hawks ran at QU in 2004. This award marks the all-NEC senior’s first weekly honor this season and second of his career.
