LaBar set up the lone goal in Rider’s only game of the week. The freshman, who has started the first five games of the season, assisted on Virginia Egusquiza’s game-winning goal in the first half of a 1-0 road victory over Hofstra. She also took two shots in the win, which upped Rider’s perfect record to 5-0. LaBar is the second Bronc in three weeks to claim the NEC’s rookie award. Freshman Jackie Adams earned the first on Aug. 31.
