Luhrs tallied five points to help Sacred Heart snap its five-game losing skid. The junior midfielder scored two goals less than 15 minutes apart and set up another in the Pioneers’ 4-3 overtime defeat of Bucknell. After the Bison took a 2-0 lead, Luhrs pulled Sacred Heart even with back-to-back goals, the second of which came in the 39th minute. With Bucknell back in front, 3-2, the NEC Player of the Week once again worked to tie the game. Luhrs sent a ball toward the net that Kim Pobutkiewicz would put past the keeper to force overtime. Luhrs also started in SHU’s 2-1 setback at cross-town rival Fairfield.
