Huebner was near perfect in helping Wagner to a flawless 5-0 record. The senior closer did not allow a single run in any of his four appearances. Huebner struck out four and surrendered three hits over 4.1 innings of work. Huebner closed out the first three wins of an eventual four-game NEC sweep of Fairleigh Dickinson that guaranteed the Seahawks their first-ever NEC regular season title. Wagner’s all-time saves leader came on to earn a four-out save in the series opener, a 7-5 victory, before recording the final three outs in the pair of one-run wins that followed.
