The Hawks' second baseman added another accolade to what was already a landmark senior season. Two weeks after joining the 200-hit club, Collazo claimed the Akadema NEC Player of the Week award. The Jersey Shore-based middle infielder batted .650 and slugged 1.050 over a four-game span. The fourth-year Hawk recorded at least one hit, one run, and one RBI in all four victories. Collazo rapped 13 hits to increase his team-leading total to 62. In addition to his run-production (7 R, 9 RBI), Collazo was flawless in the field. He handled 19 plays at second base without an error. He enjoyed back-to-back three-RBI performances. The first was part of a 5-for-6 effort in a mid-week trouncing of Saint Peter's. Collazo followed by going 4-for-6 with two runs scored and three batted in during the series opener at Mount.
