Sicinski takes home her league-leading third NEC Rookie of the Week award for her effort in two Robert Morris victories that enabled the Colonials to finish with their first winning record (9-8) in school history. In a 23-9 triumph over Saint Francis (PA) on Friday, she finished with a goal and career-high six assists. The six helpers tied her for four fourth on the NEC single-game list this season. She also scored a key goal midway through the second half in RMU’s 14-13 triumph over Mount St. Mary’s on Sunday. Sicinski’s marker with 15:55 to play gave her team a three-goal edge as the Colonials were able to stave off a late rally and secure their first-ever win over the Mount. She also added two ground balls and a caused turnover in the victory. Sicinski ranks fifth in the NEC in assists, including first among freshman with 1.31 per game. The Downington, PA product is also tenth with 3.0 ppg.
