Rinehart now ranks amongst the NEC’s top three performers in two throwing events following her showing at the UPenn Invitational. The latest Road Runner Sports NEC Rookie of the Week bested the meet’s hammer throw field (44.94m) and took second in the shot put (12.46m). Rinehart’s shot mark moved her up to third on the NEC Performance List. She already owned the Conference’s second-best hammer throw distance and although her most-recent effort doesn’t measure up to her seasonal best, it stands in the Top 10.
