The NEC’s Dean of high jumping, Brown opened his outdoor season at the Pepsi Florida Relays and promptly surged to the top of the NEC Performance List. The reigning NEC indoor high jump champion cleared 2.10m to finish fifth amongst an elite field. His height matches the qualifying standard for the NCAA East Region Championships.
