Losey became the first lady not named Lynnie DeCruise to capture the Road Runner Sports NEC Track Athlete of the Week award, ending the three-week run of her Mount St. Mary’s rival. Losey, who won Most Outstanding Track Performer honors at the 2008 NEC Championships, completed her best 200-400 double of the season at UVA’s Lou Onesty Invitational. Clocking in under the ECAC qualifying standard, the junior sprinter claimed silver in the 400-meter dash (55.21). Although she came up shy of an ECAC mark in the 200-meter race, Losey turned in a seasonal best (25.17) to finish fifth out of 28 entries.
