With a pair of hat tricks, Valentine helped the Bobcats secure a pair of road wins last week and inch closer to a sixth consecutive NEC Tournament berth. She scored three times and added three assists in a season-best six-point effort as Quinnipiac recorded an NEC single-game season-high 24 goals in a 24-9 victory at Saint Francis (PA) on Thursday. In that contest, the Friendship, MD native also added three ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers. Two days later, Valentine contributed three goals and an assist as the Bobcats rallied for a 12-11 double overtime victory at Robert Morris that extended the program's win streak to five. Her goal with 14:47 to play gave Quinnipiac its first lead of the second half. With 27 goals and 34 points on the year, Valentine ranks fourth in the NEC in goals per game (2.70) and seventh in points per game (3.40). An able defender, she is also second in the league with 1.50 caused turnovers per contest.
