Fillian took home medalist honors for the second time this season after carding a 139 (-5) at the 4th Annual Monmouth Hawk Invitational in Lakewood, NJ on Mar. 28-29. The senior shot a two-under 70 on day one and followed with a second-round three-under 69 to win the tournament by six strokes, besting a field of 59 golfers. Fillian’s outing helped the Pioneers secure the team title by one stroke (302-288=590) over Lafayette on the par 72, 6,886 yard Eagle Ridge Golf Club course. The individual title marks the first since Fillian captured a share of The McLaughlin this past fall. This is the seventh NEC Golfer of the Week award of Fillian's Pioneer career.
