Navarro keeps the Road Runner Sports NEC Rookie of the Week award in Monmouth’s hands. A week after his freshman teammate Chris Rutherford claimed the honor for his work in the 400-meter hurdles, Navarro won the 100-meter dash (11.29) and finished second in the 200-meter (22.29) at the Monmouth Season Opener. Both times rank him first amongst NEC freshmen in each event.
