DeCruise needed only her first weekend of outdoor competition to qualify for the ECAC Championships in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. The sophomore sprinter was the fastest woman at the Wake Forest Open as she won the 100-meter dash (12.12) with the sixth-best time in Mount’s program history. Delivering another all-time Mount finish, this time third in school annals, DeCruise was the runner-up in the 200-meter race when she clocked in at 24.65. The second-year Mountaineer also ran a leg of the team’s ECAC-qualifying 400-meter relay (47.51).
