Keller opened his final collegiate season by producing a third-place performance in the shot put and a seventh-place showing in the hammer throw at the Georgia Relays. The defending NEC champion put the shot 16.75m (54-11.50) to come within five centimeters of guaranteeing himself a trip to the NCAA East Region Championships. Despite being just short of the NCAA standard, Keller’s shot mark qualified him for the IC4A Championships and made him the early NEC favorite in the event.
