Carillo barely missed out only ECAC All-Tournament Team honors, but makes up for it by notching her second NEC Rookie of the Week award. The rookie right hander posted the sixth-highest individual pinfall (1216) during the traditional team play portion of the meet to help FDU to its second-place overall finish. Carillo was a key factor in the Knights’ 6-0 record in traditional games, averaging a score of 202.67 in the six victories. On her way to a filled frames percentage of .830 during team competition, Carillo bowled five of six games in excess of 200. Her high game of 222 came in a 1027-816 victory over Howard. The freshman was one of three Knights to reach the 200-pin plateau in a victory over No. 5 Delaware State, producing a score of 209. Carillo was responsible for two more 200-plus-pin performances during the individual singles championship. In all, she rolled seven of her 11 games over 200.
