Duckor won all three of her matches at No. 3 singles last week, two of which helped Quinnipiac to team victories, and did not drop a single set along the way. The freshman Bobcat’s victory (6-0, 6-2) over Colgate’s Erin Fenn proved vital in a 4-3 team triumph over the Raiders. Duckor was one of six Bobcat singles victors in a 7-0 defeat of Marist as she bested Mirelva Colon, 6-0, 6-2. Her most impressive victory of the week provided Quinnipiac’s lone team point in a setback to Army. Duckor defeated West Point’s Sarah Giles-Madden, 7-6, 6-2. The Quinnipiac rookie joins 2008 NEC Player of the Year Mary Wilson on Bobcats’ list of weekly NEC honorees this season.
