Lilley claimed her second Choice Hotels Rookie of the Week award in a season that has seen Saint Francis (PA) surge from its last-place standing of 2008 to the No. 3 seed in the 2009 NEC Tournament. A key factor in the Red Flash’s revival throughout the season, and especially last week, Lilley shot superbly (.650 Pct.) to average 16.0 points per game and help the team to a pair of conference victories that improved its league record (11-7) by eight games compared to the 2007-08 mark (3-15). The 5-foot-8 guard scored 17 points and secured four rebounds in a 75-52 win over FDU. Then, she added 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting and four boards in a 74-58 defeat of two-time defending NEC Champion Robert Morris.
