Argauer broke a program record and claimed the NEC lead in his signature event all on his way to becoming the first Colonial to capture a Road Runner Sports NEC weekly award this season. The senior’s winning weight throw mark of 18.46m (60-6.75) from the RMU Six-Way Meet is 14 centimeters better than that of the NEC’s second-ranked performer. Argauer’s latest mark surpasses the program record he set on the season’s opening weekend when he threw 18.33m at the Golden Flash Gala.
