Johnson averaged a double-double (13.0 ppg, 16.0 rpg) over two conference victories last week to capture her second Choice Hotels NEC Player of the Week award of the season a year after RMU's Sade Logan and Chinata Nesbit collected the honor a combined seven times. On her way to an 11-of-20 shooting week, Johnson scored 15 points and grabbed 16 boards in helping the defending NEC champion Colonials deal Central Connecticut State its first league loss. Johnson, who also had three assists and a pair of steals against the Blue Devils, scored 10 of her 15 points during a 7:54 first-half stretch that turned a 17-8 deficit into an eight-point RMU advantage. Currently riding a streak of four straight double-double performances, the junior forward began her week by contributing 11points, 16 rebounds, and five assists to a 22-point NEC victory over Wagner.
