Mackey becomes Fairleigh Dickinson’s first Road Runner Sports NEC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week since Sam Chelenga claimed the honor this exact same week two years ago (Jan. 16, 2007). The senior Knight qualified for the IC4A Championships with his performance in the 60-meter hurdles at this past weekend’s Metropolitan Coaches Invitational. After logging an IC4A time of 8.22 in the prelims, Mackey took fourth in the final (8.39s).
