Dean keeps the Road Runner Sports NEC Rookie of the Week award in Sacred Heart hands on the heels of her strong early-season 200-400 double. Logging a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Harvard University Open, the freshman sprinter posted the top 200-meter (25.89) and 400-meter (59.46) times the NEC has seen thus far this season. A Pioneer has appeared in the Rookie of the Week post quite often of late. Prior to Ashley Matakevich’s honor last week, Angelica Johnson claimed the award an unprecedented four times in 2007-08.
