A Robert Morris player captures the NEC Rookie of the Week award for the third time in four weeks with James O’Quinn claiming his second honor of the sort. O’Quinn who won Rookie of the Week accolades when he victimized rival Duquesne (Oct. 11) with 144 kickoff return yards, caught three balls for 76 yards and a touchdown in powering the Colonials past Central Connecticut State for their second straight home victory.. The two-time Rookie of the Week opened the game’s scoring midway through the first quarter when he took a Erik Cwalinski pass 58 yards for a touchdown. Later in the half with the score tied at 7-7, O’Quinn kept alive the Colonials’ go-ahead drive by making a 12-yard reception to convert a 3-and-12 from Robert Morris’ own 14.
