Nicolson captured his first career title at the Mount St. Mary’s Fall Invitational on Oct. 27-28 with rounds of 70 and 78 (148). The senior, who received a NEC Golfer of the Week nod earlier this season, bested the field of 58 golfers by three strokes to help lead the Blackbirds to a second-place standing on the team leaderboard. After recording three top-six finishes during last year’s campaign, Nicolson and the Blackbirds look to continue another successful season when they resume competition in the spring.
