King caught two touchdown passes to help Robert Morris build a 21-3 halftime lead in an eventual 35-3 victory at Wagner. Finishing with three receptions for 32 yards, the freshman tight end scored twice in the final three minutes of the second quarter to turn a four-point advantage into an 18-point lead at the break. First, he capped an eight-play, 82-yard drive by hauling in a 19-yard score from quarterback Erik Cwalinski. Then, following a missed Wagner field goal attempt, King completed a four-play scoring drive with a seven-yard TD reception.
