Landers played a primary role in three of the Colonials’ six takeaways and scored a defensive touchdown in his team’s 35-3 road victory over Wagner. In addition to recording six tackles (five solo) and two pass break-ups, the junior safety recovered two fumbles and forced another. Landers severely damaged any hope Wagner had of a second-half comeback when he recovered a fumble on the Seahawks’ first possession following the break and took it 59 yards for a score that pushed the Colonials’ lead to 28-3. On Wagner’s ensuing possession, Landers struck again. This time, he scooped up a fumble and returned it 50 yards to the opponents’ 14-yard line to set up Robert Morris’ fifth touchdown.
