Sinisi followed up his recent selection to the Walter Payton Award Watch List by once again proving he belongs in the national spotlight. The junior running back rushed for 194 yards and four touchdowns on 29 carries to help Monmouth remain undefeated in league play. Sinisi’s four scores in the 30-20 victory over Central Connecticut State ran his career point total to 300, meaning he is tied with former Wagner great Rick Sarille for the NEC’s all-time lead. The preseason all-NEC selection, who scored on runs of 3, 17, 3, and 30 yards against the Blue Devils, climbed atop the nation’s rushing leaderboard. His 1,295 yards and 161.9 yards-per-game average are the highest in all of Division I FCS.
