Eye, a former NEC Player of the Year, becomes the first non-Lock Haven athlete to capture Player of the Week honors. Scoring four of Sacred Heart’s five goals this week, Eye began by notching a natural hat trick in a 3-1 NEC victory over visiting Robert Morris. Following her sixth career hat trick, and 18th multi-goal effort, the senior scored on the road at Saint Joseph’s to bring the Pioneers within one goal of the Hawks before the comeback effort fell short in a 3-2 defeat. Eye has accounted for exactly 60 percent of Sacred Heart’s scoring output this season.
