Williams garners her first spot on the NEC weekly honor roll after two solid performances, helping the Blackbirds go 2-0 last week in continuing conference competition, as they improved to 11-9 overall and remain undefeated in a pair of league matches. After a seven-kill effort in a sweeping victory over Bryant on Oct. 18, Williams set a new personal-best for kills (15) in another three-set win, this time at Quinnipiac on Oct. 19. The freshman outside hitter hit .545 in the match, while also adding one ace and one dig in the victory. Williams currently ranks third on the LIU squad with 2.17 kills per game, as her 2.76 points per game also takes the number-three spot on the team.
