After receiving three NEC Rookie of the Week awards, Bennett takes home her first NEC Player of the Week accolade after recording RMU’s first triple-double since the 2003 season. The first-year setter totaled 50 assists, 10 digs and 14 kills on .737 hitting to help the Colonials post a 3-2 victory over in-state NEC rival, Saint Francis (PA) on Oct. 18, marking their second straight conference win. Bennett’s attacking percentage against the Red Flash stands as the league’s match high. The California product currently leads the squad in assists as she distributes an average of 9.21 assists per game, good for third in the conference.
