DeLashmutt anchored a Blackbird defense that helped LIU go 2-0 last week in continuing conference play. The sophomore netminder collected a pair of shutouts, making five saves in an overtime win against Quinnipiac on Friday and stopping another four shots against Central Connecticut State on Sunday, increasing her shutout total to three this season. DeLashmutt currently ranks second in the league with a 0.77 goals against average and posts the third-best save percentage (.857). The Blackbirds, who currently share first place in the NEC with 15 points, are the only squad to remain undefeated in league action at 5-0 and are in the midst of a four-game win streak.
