Drager brings home her second NEC weekly award in three weeks after she followed up her first career collegiate cross country win with another top-five performance, taking fourth place at the Metropolitan Championships on Oct. 10. The senior ran the 6,000 meter Van Cortland Park course in a time of 18:45 to best all NEC participants and to help the Seahawks take seventh place in the team standings. The field featured 125 runners from 14 institutions. Drager bettered her performance from last year’s METS Championships where she ran 19:31 for ninth place.
